Zach Royer is an author, entrepreneur, world explorer, adventure guide as well as the director of Hawaii Island’s premier anomalous research organization, Kahuna Research Group, where he has spent the last five years at the forefront of exploring Hawaii’s secrets & mysteries. His work has been featured on the Travel Channel, in the Journal of Anomalous Sciences, as well as in numerous travel magazines and on many different websites over the last few years. Zach was born and raised in Washington State, attended college in Colorado for environmental science and now lives in Hawaii most of the year. Once upon a time, he worked as a landscape & maintenance technician, a designer in the apparel industry and a manager at a hobby store, but has been researching and writing full time for several years. (He doesn’t miss retail. At all.) Most of all, he’s thankful that he gets to make a living doing what he loves and considers himself pretty much the luckiest guy on the planet.
